Celebrating Canada Day, Macau-Style!

It was hot and sunny for most of the Canada Day Celebration at Wave Pool & Restaurant today with more than 60 people attending the sold-out event co-hosted by CanCham Macao and The International School of Macao.

However, part way through the festivities, the sky turned black and lashing rain had everyone scattering for shelter! Thankfully, the storm didn’t last very long and sunny skies prevailed once again to the delight of the many children who were anxious to get back into the pool. All in all, the Canada Day Celebration was a fun-filled event that brought the Canadian community in Macao together.

Many thanks to corporate members, Manulife, Paradise Entertainment Ltd. and The Executive Centre for their generous sponsorship of our Canada Day Celebration. We are also grateful to Four Seasons Hotel Macao and Warrior Fitness for the fantastic raffle prizes they donated. Congratulations to our winners!

CanCham Macao was honoured to welcome Consul General Jeff Nankivell from the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong and Macao and John Crawford from CanCham Macao’s Board of Directors who both came from Hong Kong to share in the festivities.
