Justin Trudeau Visits Hong Kong

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was in Hong Kong in early September as part of an eight day official visit to China. Trudeau visited the Sai Wan War Cemetery on September 6th to pay homage to the 228 Canadian soldiers who died during the Battle of Hong Kong in December 1941.

Students from four Canadian schools in Hong Kong and Macao attended the event. Two students from the International School of Macao were invited to the ceremony and were thrilled to be able to shake hands with the Prime Minister.
